Fairy Tale Scrolls .....

Over the last couple of weeks we have been making fairy tale scrolls.  They tell the story of a favourite fairy tale by using pictures.  We are going to share these with the juniors and tell the story orally!


We put our faces in them first:)

Then we put our paper story scrolls inside the decorated shoe boxes.

Miniball Teams - Term 2/3

Well done to the Miniball Teams.  You had a great season and all worked well as a team when playing on Mondays after school.  I noticed that you all improved over the season too.  Also a BIG thank you to the wonderful managers of the teams.  You did a great job and without you we wouldn't be able to have so many teams representing our school.

Fraction Sundaes - Yum Yum!

We have been learning about fractions in class. We have made sundaes and we were able to choose the flavours we wanted.

The bottom number is the denominator and tells us how many scoops altogether and the top number is the numerator which tells us how many of each flavour.

Similes

Simile - a simile is a way of comparing one thing with another to make a description more vivid.
They usually begin with 'as' or 'like'.
